Be imitators of God

I was reading Business for the Glory of God from “Wayne Grudem” another day and this part stopped me:

Be imitators of God, as beloved children. Ephesians 5:1

The point being made there is simple. If you are a parent, you know the joy of watching your kids pick up your good habits and the standards you tried to model. That joy is a faint echo of what God feels when He sees us imitating Him.
