Work heartily, as for the Lord

Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ. Colossians 3:23-24
It is easy to derail and dismiss this powerful Word. It is easy to forget this during a busy day. Meetings, deadlines, unexpected situations, usual noise. But this verse always pulls me back.
Whatever we’re doing, the audience is not the leaders we report to or our peers or our teams, It should be the Lord. This changes completely the way, effort, attention and energy you might put in things.
